If you’re arriving today, you can look forward to our Christmas Wine Tasting Dinner this evening. We’ll have a delicious four-course set-menu dinner for you to enjoy, and our wine expert will be introducing a carefully-matched wine with each course. What better way to start the festivities?
Christmas Eve - Tuesday 24th December
The Christmas festivities begin in earnest, with a distinctly indulgent four-course candlelit dinner, with a little live music to entertain.
Christmas Day - Wednesday 25th December
Happy Christmas! Start the day with our hearty Devon Breakfast – but be sure to leave room for our sumptuous and traditional Six Course Christmas Day Lunch. Enjoy a lazy afternoon in our warm lounges, and look forward to Chef’s delicious cold buffet supper, followed by movie night with ice cream and popcorn.
Boxing Day - Thursday 26th December
Enjoy a guided stroll around some of Tavistock’s historic highlights after breakfast. This evening, enjoy a relaxed three course dinner in the elegant surroundings of our Woburn Restaurant, followed by a flutter on the casino tables (just for fun!).
Friday 27th December
Take your time over a lazy breakfast. We’ll be sorry to say farewell – perhaps we can tempt you to stay another night or two, from £69.50 per person per night, including breakfast.

Christmas Break Tariff
We will request a non-refundable deposit of £250 per room to confirm your booking, with the balance payable by 30/11/24. It’s a good idea to take out suitable travel insurance to provide you with cover in the event that you should need to cancel for any reason. Children (under 16, sharing with two adults) charged at £70 per night including breakfast (with other meals charged as taken). Dogs are very welcome, and charged at £15 each per night. We are pleased to cater for special dietary requirements with advance notice. Please ask us if you need to know more about the ingredients we use in our dishes. We reserve the right to amend the programme of events over the Christmas Break period.
