Tavistock Carnival Week

Whether you live locally, or you're planning a visit to our beautiful town of Tavistock, our annual Carnival Week is not to be missed!

Skillfully organised by our good friends at the Lions Club of Tavistock, Carnival Week is packed with events, activities and summer celebrations for all the family, and finishes on a real high with the famously spectacular and fun Grand Procession through the town on Sunday 20th July.

Take part in a fun run, enjoy some live music, pop along to an art exhibition or look forward to all the fun of the fair. There's something for everyone!

Saturday 12th July

10am until late - TaviFringe Music Festival - at various venues throughout the town

Sunday 13th July

From 12 noon - Fun Day in the Meadows
Dog show, BBQ, tag rugby displays, duck race, charity stalls and more

Monday 14th July

6:45pm - Peace Poster Presentation - The Bedford Hotel

Tuesday 15th July

6pm - Pavement Artists' Competition - Brook Street

Wednesday 16th July

9:30am to 4:30pm - Drawn to the Valley art exhibition - Butchers Hall (runs until Saturday)
7:30pm - Stannary Brass Band, Blowzone & The Inner Tube of the Rubber Band - Tavistock Parish Church (entry £6)

Thursday 17th July

5:30pm - Town Relay Races - The Meadows
6pm - Petanque Tournament - Pentanque Court, Plymouth Road

Saturday 19th July

10am - Carnival Fun Run - Tavistock College
10am to 4pm - Music, Classic Car Show, Food & Market Stalls - Town Centre

Sunday 20th July

All day - Fun Fair, Bar, Market Stalls & Music - Town Centre
4pm - Grand Procession - Town Centre
